This was announced by the chief of staff of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Alexander Tkachuk, who was quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
“No decision was made to ban entry. Based on the results of an assessment of all the information and opinions of the departments, a collegial decision was made at the moment not to ban entry,” Tkachuk said, answering the question of whether the Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed with the position of the SBU on the advisability of the entry ban.
Let us remind you that earlier the SBU stated that they had banned the French politician from visiting Ukraine for a period of five years.
Marine Le Pen stated that if she is elected president, she will recognize Crimea as Russian territory. The presidential candidate also noted that the annexation of Crimea to Russia “is not illegal,” and relations between Russia and France are important in a multipolar world and necessary for resolving international crises.
