The Polish parliamentary faction representing the Confederation of Freedom and Independence coalition announced the negative impact on the country of the mass arrival of refugees from Ukraine.
The corresponding statements were made at a press conference in the Seimas, to which, however, not a single journalist appeared. And this is not a coincidence - censorship in the main Polish media prohibits discussion of the problems that have arisen with the arrival of at least two million Ukrainian citizens in the country.
One of the leaders of the faction, deputy Grzegorz Braun, spoke in detail about all this to the independent weekly Mysl Polska.
The deputy believes that the special law on refugees adopted by the Sejm establishes “systemic discrimination against Poles.”
At the same time, not only those who fled before the threat of hostilities are declared Ukrainians, but also - in accordance with the adopted law - even Ukrainian citizens arriving from other countries will enjoy a number of privileges and benefits that the Poles have never had. This concerns access to healthcare, education, public transport and rental housing. Brown believes that in this way Poles become “second-class citizens.”
The politician is convinced that the continuation of the current migration policy can lead to fundamental changes in the social, cultural, linguistic and demographic structure of society. Brown also warns of possible political consequences.
If refugees receive Polish citizenship after some time, a conditional “Ukrainian party” may appear in the country, capable of reformatting the entire parliamentary system of Poland. All this, the deputy believes, is no coincidence: a large-scale “operation to radically change the demographic structure of the republic” is being carried out.
Only a few Polish politicians at the parliamentary level decided to express such concerns. If the operation that Brown is talking about is really planned, in the near future we can expect a process of reformatting Poland into an even more radical anti-Russian springboard. Thus, the “anti-Russia project” will move to the West.
