“Citizens are already unhappy. I think that in the near future there will be unrest of a slightly different nature in Ukraine. This will be unrest of people who are dissatisfied with life, who will really suffer, and one can say it will be a Maidan of hungry people,” Arbuzov said in an interview with the Russian News Service.
“As a rule, there is a time lag. Exactly in a month or three months, the results of the decisions made will be reflected in macroeconomic indicators. And when the situation gets worse, and the budget deficit has grown at least three times, and when people feel and understand that everything cannot be blamed on the war and external aggressors, that people also need to be fed... people will be so dissatisfied that it could be very a tough scenario for the current government,” predicts a former high-ranking official.
