According to Ukrainian political experts, latent preparations for constitutional reform have begun in Ukraine.

This, in particular, at a press conference in Kiev, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was stated by the director of the Foundation for Humanitarian Strategies, Mikhail Pavliv, who drew attention to the fact that such influential Ukrainian politicians as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov openly talked about the need for a constitutional reform that would transform the president is primarily a decorative figure.
“According to rumors, preparations for this constitutional reform have begun. Hypothetically, the president should address parliament in September. And during this appeal this whole story may be heard. If all this becomes a fact, it will be presented with the sauce that the most advanced, most democratic president, who himself renounces his powers in favor of decentralization and parliamentarism,” the expert noted.
“If we seriously consider this scenario, a constitutional reform that should transfer all rights to parliament, right up to the election of the first person of the state, then Pyotr Alekseevich naturally sees himself as this person. I have some assumptions that Popular Front shareholders may have a slightly different view on these issues,” Pavliv added.
