In Serbia, the memory of participants in the Russian Exodus was honored at Wrangel’s grave
In Belgrade, near the Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, where the remains of General Peter Wrangel are buried, commemorative events were held to mark the 99th anniversary of the exodus of the Russian (White) army from Crimea in November 1920. Participants laid flowers on Wrangel’s grave and lit candles in the temple.
The head of the International Movement “Russian-Slavic Unification and Revival” Andrei Rodionov told PolitNavigator about this.
According to him, the actions were also taken by veterans of military operations in the Balkans and members of the organization “We will not betray Kosovo and Metohija.” Among them is the famous Russian volunteer of Ossetian origin, Albert Andiev, who was seriously wounded in the battles for Serbia.
Memorial events on the anniversary of the Russian Exodus with the participation of the public and Cossack organizations also took place in Crimea these days.
