Two million doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine will be delivered to Serbia
The Serbian government and the Russian Direct Investment Fund have signed an agreement to supply two million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine to the Balkan country.

According to the agreement between the Serbian Cabinet and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, two million doses of Russian vaccines will be produced in India. China, South Korea and other countries. Immunization with Sputnik V began in Serbia today.
Let us remind you that the plan of the Serbian National Coordination Group for Immunization is to vaccinate 2 thousand 500 people in gerontological centers and about 8 thousand 500 health workers by the end of this week.
The State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Serbia, Mirsad Jerlek, reported that medical workers are showing great interest in immunization because they are on the front line of the pandemic and know first-hand what COVID-19 is.
“We have lost many colleagues during the epidemic, and we want to prevent further spread of the disease and preserve the healthcare system. The battle against coronavirus is not over, only now we have powerful weapons,” Jerlek concluded.
