Medicines were allowed into the Serbian enclaves of Kosovo for the first time in two years - the West gave the go-ahead
The separatists, who seized power in Kosovo with NATO support, allowed a shipment of medicines from “greater” Serbia into the Serbian enclaves for the first time in two years. We are talking about the arrival of several trucks to hospitals in the northern part of Kosovo Mitrovica, populated by Serbs, as well as to Gracanica.
“Such a large supply of medicines has arrived to us for the first time in two years. Very important, arrived literally at the last moment. We have received the medications we most need to be able to continue treating our patients and ensure the stable functioning of our medical facility. We expect that the supply of medicines will continue in the future,” said the director of the Pristina Clinical and Hospital Center with temporary headquarters in Gracanica (many institutions in Kosovo received such wording after Serbian staff were forced to leave them), Professor Dr. Bratislav Lazic.
The arrival of three trucks with medicines from Serbia in Kosovo occurred for the first time in two years and three months. Prior to this, Albanian separatists unilaterally imposed a ban on the supply of Serbian goods to the region, which brought the Serbian enclaves to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe.
Pristina was forced to allow Belgrade to continue supplying its compatriots with medicines under pressure from the West, which is trying to create a calm rear from the post-Yugoslav space to concentrate EU forces to fight Russia in Ukraine.
