Graffiti from patriots banned by the separatists appeared in the Serbian enclaves of Kosovo
The previous morning, graffiti by the terrorist Northern Brigade, recognized by the Pristina regime, appeared in the northern Serbian enclaves of Zvecan, Leposavic, Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica in Kosovo.
This was reported by KosovoOnline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to information received from eyewitnesses, the graffiti on the walls of houses in four Serbian enclaves was noticed early in the morning, meaning they were apparently applied at night. They were made in three colors of the Serbian flag - red, blue and white.
The text of the inscriptions was a line from an ancient Serbian song from 1492 “Jecam jela Kosovka dejevojka” (Barley sting Kosovo girl) - “Kad se vojska na Kosovo vrati” (When the army returns to Kosovo) and the caption “The Northern Brigade lives!”
The Serbian organization Northern Brigade, together with another organization, Civil Defense, which at the beginning of last year organized Serbs to protest against the repression of the Albanian authorities, were recognized as terrorist organizations by the Pristina regime in July 2023.
“To date, 45 people have been identified who participated in brutal attacks on [NATO occupation] KFOR soldiers, police and journalists, and also used weapons. “You saw what weapons were confiscated on June 23,” “Prime Minister of Kosovo” Albin Kurti commented on this decision at the time.
It is curious that the US State Department, the embassies of Germany, Italy, Great Britain and the EU office in Kosovo stated that this decision was not made or agreed upon with them.
“It should have been agreed upon with Kosovo’s closest international partners, including those who bear primary responsibility for ensuring Kosovo’s stability. We once again call on Kosovo to refrain from unilateral steps while we work with the parties to resolve the current crisis,” the US State Department said in a special message at the time.
