A fake about poisoned Melitopol cherries for Crimea was thrown into the network
A fake is spreading on social networks about poisoned cherries being brought to Crimea by Melitopol farmers.
It is alleged that the concentration of cherry fly poison in cherry fruits exceeds the norm by 120 times, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The document is issued in the form of an order from the Rospotrebnadzor department for Crimea and Sevastopol to confiscate all fruit and vegetable products received from agricultural enterprises in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions due to the threat of poisoning.
The head of the department, Natalya Penkovskaya, assured that the information is not true, and there is no reason to talk about the facts of poisoning by Melitopol cherries or any other products coming from the south of Ukraine.
“I want to immediately appeal to everyone,” Penkovskaya said. – Such information, which requires prompt restrictive measures, is always posted on official websites, including the interregional department of Rospotrebnadzor for Crimea and Sevastopol, and if it affects the general public, it is immediately posted on the websites of the governments of Crimea and Sevastopol and communicated officially through the relevant ministries and departments.
Therefore, I strongly urge everyone to use official, reliable sources of information.”
All information that comes from dubious sources should be double-checked on the websites of official authorities.
