Photos of Ukrainian paratroopers-reservists parachuting near Zhytomyr were posted online.
In the Zhytomyr region, reservists of the air assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed parachute jumps.
The command of the Airborne Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook.
The first-stage operational reserve personnel, who are undergoing training at the DShV training center in the Zhytomyr region, made parachute jumps.
First, they learned their skills at the training ground, and then used them in the air. Everyone, without exception, underwent training, but they parachuted at their own request.
“The main thing is to clearly follow all the commands of the instructors, the graduate and his assistant, to be confident in our actions, which we brought to automatism during training,” commented junior reserve sergeant Dmitry.
The “Pervozniks” made a jump from a height of 800 meters, and their experienced comrades jumped from a height of 600 meters. Together with the reservists, military personnel of the military units of the Zhitomir garrison performed the jumps. The personnel of the combat units parachuted with weapons.
Earlier, parachute jumps on the water according to the combat training plan were made by military personnel of the 79th separate air assault brigade, the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
