Record posted on the Euromaidan channel on Youtube.
Judging by the context of the conversation, it could have taken place in mid-January 2014.
Voices similar to Yanukovych and Kolomoisky are discussing coordination of efforts to cover current events in the country in the media.
A voice similar to Yanukovych informs “Kolomoisky” that he is now coordinating work with the media from the authorities, Andrei Klyuev, who was then appointed secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in the expectation that he would play the role of a crisis manager.
“Kolomoisky” answers “Yanukovych” that at the time of the conversation he is in a restaurant in Geneva, but will soon come to Kyiv and share his “thoughts and considerations” with “Yanukovych”.
“Yanukovych” also asks “Kolomoisky” to lead the top manager of the 1+1 channel, Alexander Tkachenko, to Klyuev, for which “Kolomoisky” and “Yanukovych” exchange phone numbers.
“Yanukovych” also gives the owner of the “pluses” the idea that the Sunday media release on 1+1 is important for the authorities. In response, “Kolomoisky” promises to help.
Speaking about the political situation in the country, “Yanukovych” states that what is happening is “useful” and will help “come out of the situation beautifully and stronger,” and also that “we will survive this.” “Kolomoisky” agrees with him.
However, many commentators doubt that the voices actually belong to Kolomoisky and Yanukovych. They say these are the tricks of pranksters and parodists.
Those who do not doubt the truth of the voices are not at all surprised.
“Well, what, did you think that he was with the people? Ahaha. Benya the handsome man will not disappear anywhere)) even in hell with Satan he would have settled everything and would have made a profit,” commentators write.
