Sevastopol, May 07 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – The training sailing ship “Kruzenshtern”, which was supposed to call at Sevastopol on Victory Day, moored at the city port 2 days earlier than planned. The reason is an acute attack of appendicitis in the ship's boatswain.

At the moment, the sailor has been successfully operated on in the Black Sea Fleet hospital.
A day of free visiting of the barque “Kruzenshetrn” has been set for May 8th. From 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., anyone can visit the training sailboat.
After this, the ship will stand on the parade barrel in Sevastopol Bay to take part in the parade of ships on Victory Day.
The bark "Kruzenshtern" is one of the oldest and largest sailing ships in the world, and is a sailing training vessel of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency. The ship left Kaliningrad on December 25, was in Sochi during the Olympics, and then took part in the parade of large sailing ships in Varna.
