In Sevastopol, a bribery deputy was fined for fraud

The investigation and the court established that the deputy, being a member of the commission for the settlement of land relations of the district council, convinced the chairman of the initiative group of the gardening partnership to transfer him money for assistance in preparing documents for land plots. Otherwise, the people's representative assured, without his assistance the chairman will not be able to obtain a decision on consent to the development of technical documentation for land plots.
At the same time, the report notes, due to his official position and duties, the deputy had no actual opportunity to influence the resolution of this situation.
On May 16, the deputy received 75 thousand rubles from the chairman of the IG, who was misled, and was detained.
The investigation also established that the accused received almost 24 thousand rubles from the chairman of the IG in December.
The deputy admitted guilt in committing the crimes and compensated the victim for the damage in full.
By a court verdict, the people's choice was sentenced to a fine in the amount of 230 thousand rubles.
