In Sevastopol, children desecrated the Russian flag on Victory Day
On June 3, the Leninsky District Court received a criminal case against a Sevastopol resident who is accused of desecrating the state flag of the Russian Federation (Article 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the press service of the court, according to the indictment, on the night of May 9-10, the accused, as part of a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy with two minors who had not reached the age of criminal responsibility, while intoxicated, demonstratively tore down three state flags of the Russian Federation from the facades of houses along Gogol Street. After that, at the public transport stop “Ushakov Square” they violated the flags, namely, they threw them on the ground, trampled them with their feet, and recorded their actions on mobile phone cameras.
After committing the crime, the young people threw the State flags onto the road under the wheels of passing cars.
The sanction of Article 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for a term of up to one year, or forced labor for the same period, or arrest for a term of three to six months, or imprisonment for a term of up to one year.
