The father of the victim, Sergei Karandashev, told PolitNavigator about this.
According to him, the incident occurred on the evening of October 22 in the courtyard of a house on Kosarev Street. The assailant stabbed a 16-year-old boy in the abdomen. The child was taken by ambulance to the department of the 5th city hospital, where he is still being treated.
The arriving police found a 30-year-old drug addict, recently released from prison, walking down the stairs with an ax in his hands. He was taken to the Gagarinsky District Department of Internal Affairs and released the next morning.
As investigator Yuri Gutsul explained to his parents, “the police have nothing to present to him.”
It is worth noting that the police did carry out some of the necessary actions - the victim was interviewed at the hospital and a report was drawn up.
However, then the investigator did not classify the incident as an attempted murder, i.e. under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 1 or Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Criminal Code directly states that a case is initiated under the articles if the perpetrator inflicted multiple stab wounds to the vital organs of the victim (neck, chest, abdomen) with the aim of depriving him of life, but death did not occur due to the provision of timely and qualified medical care .
The investigator refused to comment to the reporter, but the parents insist on investigating and bringing the case to court.
