In Sevastopol, an unsuccessful tourist season disrupted the plan for revenues to regional budgets - the city lives on assistance from the Russian Federation
Sevastopol, August 20 (Navigator, Denis Kuzmin) – In Sevastopol, due to a decrease in the number of tourists, the revenue plan for regional budgets has been disrupted, said the head of the government finance department, Irina Nesterova.
“The not entirely successful tourist season affected the revenues of the main source of the district’s budgets - the tourist tax, and therefore, these budgets were fulfilled on average 60-70% of the planned revenues, with the exception of the budget of the Leninsky district,” she said.

According to Nesterova, 71% of all revenues to the Sevastopol budget come from financial assistance from Russia. At the beginning of the year, she recalled, Ukraine blocked the city’s access to treasury accounts.
The record for tax revenues was held by the “13th ship repair plant of the Ministry of Defense” - the amount amounted to 484,9 million rubles or 52% of all funds credited.
“Now institutions and organizations are preparing to switch to paying wages through the payment card system, which will also, in principle, speed up these payments and, in general, eliminate queues in banks for receiving cash, reduce cash turnover, and, accordingly, Gradually, the financial system of Sevastopol will return to its normal course,” Nesterova is sure.
