In Sevastopol, construction of a block in Omega was limited due to lack of parking
Sevastopol, December 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) - The government of Sevastopol made a compromise decision on the construction of a residential quarter in the Omega, 2-A microdistrict, the general contractor of which is Sevastopolstroy PJSC. On the one hand, the developer gives 1000 sq.m. apartments in the city, on the other hand, it’s not all right with parking spaces. In the end, we decided to talk in the chief architect’s office.

In fact, the commission did not have any special objections to the general construction plan with the exception of parking spaces. With the total development based on 1905 people for the entire residential complex, permanent parking for only 167 spaces, temporary parking for 105, plus an agreement was concluded with a neighboring parking lot for 150 cars, which still does not give an acceptable result in total.
At the same time, a representative of the Capital Construction Department, who acted as an applicant, told the commission that 1000 sq.m. housing intended for the city, 200 sq.m. of which have already been transferred. He also shared figures from which it follows that the total development area of the quarter is 28%, landscaping - 18%. At the same time, two transformer substations were built, gas pipelines and gas distribution points were built. Thus, from the point of view of network support for the complex, no additional burden will be placed on the city.
The chief architect of Sevastopol, Alexey Brusetsev, suggested discussing the general plan in a less formal setting.
“Let’s maybe make this decision: we’ll sit down with your designer and discuss these issues regarding playgrounds, sports fields and parking spaces. We understand that houses exist, they exist. In principle, you give part of the housing stock to the city, and the city needs housing. In order to make a positive decision for you, we will sit down and together look at how we can get out of this situation in order to provide this territory with all the standards. And only then at the commission you will present the realities,” suggested Brusentsev.
Commission member Mikhail Khramov, in turn, proposed partially limiting the construction of some buildings and allowing the construction of others “so that you don’t stand.”
“If during this time you and Alexey Anatolyevich (Brusentsev) - and I see that we all have a desire - review the general plan, consider the issue of parking, etc., then at the next commission, if suddenly everything works out there just as Alexey Anatolyevich said now, then why not,” Khramov said.
At the same time, he added that “this will be a compromise solution that will suit the developer, so that he does not stand still, but continues to build, so that he has a turnover.”
