Sevastopol, December 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) - In Sevastopol, on the Day of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, St. Andrew's flags were consecrated for the ships of the Black Sea Fleet.

The service took place in the Church of Archangel Michael, which was recently returned to the Church by the Black Sea Fleet Museum.

Rector Fr. Alexander Bondarenko, in the presence of the sailors, served a prayer service to the Apostle Andrew the First-Called. At the end of the service, the rector of the church blessed the St. Andrew's flags of the ships of the fleet and handed them over to the unit commanders.

A prayer service was served in front of a new icon of the apostle, painted and donated to the temple by the Athonite elders.
