Another embankment will be restored in Sevastopol after the Ukrainian devastation
In Sevastopol, restoration of the Omega Bay embankment is being prepared. They tried to improve this popular vacation spot back in Ukrainian times, but the work was not completed then, and the embankment has recently again begun to resemble a cluster of stalls “in the spirit of the nineties.”
Now the authorities have presented the Omega renewal concept.
It is assumed that at the beginning of the embankment and on the beach area there will be a recreation area for children under seven years old. In addition, there is a recreation area for children over seven years old, a wide walking area, shady pergolas, safe gymnastics and volleyball courts, as well as lighting and landscaping. It is planned to plant more than 500 trees and shrubs. A bicycle path will run along the entire embankment.
In the center of the embankment there will be an extensive walking area covered with granite tiles with a closed dry fountain and comfortable benches. Six modular toilets will be located on the beach, including for people with limited mobility.
