A pedophile who lured girls through social networks was caught in Sevastopol

According to the investigation, on the evening of August 3, the suspect lured two girls aged 1 and 14 years into a forest located near the Vodokanal-11 gardening partnership in the Nakhimovsky district. Threatening death, the man forced them to drink wine, after which, tearing off the minors’ clothes, he tried to rape them. He was unable to carry out his criminal intent to the end, since the schoolgirls, having actively resisted him, broke out. At home, the girls told about what had happened, and their parents immediately reported the crime to law enforcement agencies.
In a short time, the identity of the suspect was established, and the man was detained at his place of residence. At the moment, his involvement in committing similar crimes is being verified. In the near future, a preventive measure will be chosen for the attacker.
The report emphasizes that a 36-year-old man met a 14-year-old girl on one of the social networks, after which, having made an appointment, he lured her and her friend into a forest belt. In this regard, the Investigative Committee strongly recommends that parents carefully monitor their children’s contacts on social networks, if possible, setting a children’s tariff at home and limiting the time the child spends on the Internet.
