Large-scale restoration of gardens and vineyards began in Sevastopol under Russia
500 hectares of new vineyards and 60 hectares of gardens will appear this year in Sevastopol. This is provided for by the state program for the development of agriculture in the hero city. Also, as part of its implementation, it is planned to uproot vineyards on an area of up to 300 hectares.

“This year, a set of measures is planned to support young farms. The city governor, Sergei Menyailo, pays special attention to this issue. We see how the agricultural industry is being revived,” said Vice Governor Alexander Reshetnikov.
As part of the state program, it is planned to subsidize up to 80% of farmers’ expenses.
The Sevastopol authorities are also ready to finance the renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet and the creation of nurseries.
Let us remember that last year in Sevastopol, for the first time in many years, new vineyards were planted on an area of 158 hectares.
