This was stated on Wednesday by the representative of the governor of Sevastopol in the Legislative Assembly, Alexander Svechnikov.
According to him, an agreement is currently “in the process of concluding an agreement with the Ministry of Defense and the city governor on the list of military camps.”
“The list has not yet been fully prepared. It will make it clear which military camps and facilities remain with the Ministry of Defense and which will go to the city. Therefore, for those houses in military camps that will go to the city, the government will make decisions about transferring the apartments in these houses from official ones to ordinary city apartments. And the procedure for the privatization of city apartments is already clear to everyone,” explained Svechnikov.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the governor of Sevastopol Sergei Menyailo took the initiative to accept the official housing of the Ministry of Defense on the city’s balance sheet, since the military department did not have the money to maintain it. We were talking about more than a hundred apartment buildings, with the exception of those located directly on the territory of military units. Currently, by personal order of the governor, garbage is being removed from the local area of military service houses. Sergei Menyailo explained this by saying that “someone must service the house.”
