A rally in support of the residents of Donbass will take place in Sevastopol on February 18 at 15:00 at the monument to Empress Catherine II. The organizers, ordinary residents of the city, united through social networks, informed PolitNavigator about this.

“We can’t do anything more (except maybe send money to help, read the reports, or cry). It’s absolutely impossible to just watch people die very nearby non-stop,” said one of the organizers of the rally, Yanina Verbitskaya.

The government of Sevastopol approved the request for the rally. The organizers expect to collect signatures for an appeal to the Russian leadership calling on them to recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
