Those present demanded that the Legislative Assembly, whose session is being held today, adopt amendments to the bill on gubernatorial elections, providing for the possibility of self-nomination, a reduction in the municipal filter, and a ban on voting for conscript sailors.
The rally participants criticized the privatization program for more than 20 state unitary enterprises, which deputies must approve today.
“21 enterprises, including profitable ones, are being privatized. This is a gross violation and a spit in the soul of Sevastopol residents,” said A Just Russia representative Evgeniy Dubovik.
Representatives of the police and the Leninsky district department approached the organizers of the meeting twice and made a remark about the use of sound amplification equipment, which was not agreed upon. The protesters did not pay attention to the comments.
