In Sevastopol today they said goodbye to junior sergeant Danila Romanitsa, who died during a special operation in Ukraine. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced this.
“We know that during the clashes Danil Romanitsa showed the highest heroism and courage and died from his injuries,” Razvozhaev wrote on social networks.
Danil was born in Sevastopol. In 2018, after military service, he decided to throw in his lot with the army and was called up for contract service.
In July 2021, he was appointed to the position of gun commander of a howitzer artillery platoon of military unit 87714.
Danil Romanitsa was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage
