In Sevastopol they said goodbye to the heroically deceased defender of Russia
In Sevastopol, they said goodbye to Kirill Vytoptov, a soldier of the 126th separate guards coastal defense brigade.
He died at the end of August in the Kherson direction, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Kirill Vytoptov graduated from school No. 37 in Sevastopol, after finishing his military service he decided to remain in the army as a contract service,” Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote in his telegram channel. “He died heroically in a battle in the Kherson direction.”
The deceased served as a sniper of the motorized rifle squad of the rifle company of the 126th separate guards Gorlovka twice Red Banner, Order of Suvorov coastal defense brigade of the 22nd Army Corps of the Southern Military District. In March, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the 126th separate coastal defense brigade, which is stationed in the village of Perevalnoye, Simferopol region, was awarded the honorary title of Guards. Guards status was assigned to it for the heroism, steadfastness and courage shown by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts.
The 126th separate coastal defense brigade was formed on December 1, 2014 and received its name in memory of the 126th Red Banner Order of Suvorov Gorlovka motorized rifle division, which liberated Crimea from the Nazis in 1944.
