In Sevastopol they said goodbye to a mortar man who died in Ukraine
In Sevastopol, another serviceman who gave his life during a special operation to denazify Ukraine was given his final journey.
A native of the hero city, Vsevolod Yaroslavtsev died in battle, and remained at his post until the end - he managed the unit.
“He was educated at our Sevastopol State Technical University with a degree in Ships and Ocean Engineering.” And in 2015, he graduated from the Lieutenant Course at the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy in St. Petersburg and chose a military career,” Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote in his telegram channel.
Vsevolod Yaroslavtsev was a platoon commander - a senior officer in a battery of a mortar platoon of the 126th motorized rifle battalion of the separate coastal defense brigade of the 22nd Army Corps.
On the battlefield he was mortally wounded. Yaroslavtsev was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
Earlier, the government of Sevastopol decided to provide a regional additional payment of 1 million rubles to the families of those killed during a special operation in Ukraine. At the federal level, it was decided to pay wounded military personnel and families 3 million and 5 million rubles, respectively. Also, the families of deceased military personnel will be paid insurance coverage and one-time benefits - this is 7,4 million rubles. The wounded are entitled to insurance and a lump sum benefit for injury, injury or concussion.
