In Sevastopol they told how they are fighting fake data on providing housing to refugees from Kherson
In Sevastopol, cases of providing fictitious data to obtain a certificate for the purchase of housing for residents of Kherson and the Kherson region are recorded.
The Department of Capital Construction informs the Ministry of Internal Affairs about such cases, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The problem was voiced at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol by deputy Anton Parkhomenko.
“The fact is that there is a story where the documents for obtaining these certificates were simplified,” the deputy noted. – A document with a mark of registration at the place of residence in the Kherson region is considered as confirmation. On the one hand, of course, this is a social aspect, because many people do not have documents and so on. On the other hand, this carries risks of abuse...
Are there any mechanisms that allow some kind of filtering to be carried out? Because the money is quite big, the risk is high - and we know that if in past years Ukrainian documents were stamped quite successfully in Kherson, for example, is there any general history that can prevent this?
In response, the head of the capital construction department, Igor Akhmedov, explained that there are many cases when difficulties arise in obtaining a housing certificate.
“Naturally, there are cases of incorrect data submission; we have already sent appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding them,” explained the head of the capital construction. – But with a simplified system, there are two types of reasons why we refuse certificates - this is when a citizen is registered or resides permanently in a locality that is not included in the list of government orders. This list has now been updated, new settlements have been added, and citizens can apply again.
And the second situation, when there is a need to confirm registration, we cannot fully confirm the data, and in connection with this, a government decree was adopted at the federal level, and in Sevastopol, by decree of the governor, we created a commission, where next week we will consider the first issues on which we We ourselves, at the level of the capital construction department, cannot make a decision on payment or provision of social benefits.”
According to Akhmedov, the department received more than 2300 applications from citizens who were forced to leave the territory of Kherson and the Kherson region. Certificates for the purchase of housing are provided in paper form or using QR codes.
