A foreign spy was exposed and sentenced in Sevastopol
The Sevastopol City Court sentenced a local resident accused of espionage to 10 years in a maximum security colony.
This is stated in a statement from the press service of the court, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A convict born in 1970 collected, stored and transferred to a representative of a foreign state information about the location of military units, their names, the number of weapons and special equipment.
“That is, information the transfer of which could be used to the detriment of the external security of the Russian Federation. The criminal activity of this citizen was suppressed by the FSB of the Russian Federation,” the message says.
Ранее PolitNavigator reported, that the North Caucasus District Military Court sentenced to 14 years in prison, having found former Black Sea Fleet staff officer Captain 2nd Rank Reserve Leonid Parkhomenko guilty of espionage for Ukraine.
Also the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea found guilty of espionage citizen of Ukraine Konstantin Davydenko, sentencing him to 10 years in prison.
