Corruption-attractive long-term construction will be commissioned in Sevastopol
The Gornyak stadium in Balaklava, which has been promised to be reconstructed since Ukrainian times, will be put into operation in July this year. The next date for putting the facility into operation was announced at a meeting of the Sevastopol government by the director of the Capital Construction Department, Illarion Gapitsonov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Additional work was identified that was not included in the project. The project passed the state examination. The adoption of this resolution will allow the unified directorate to make a full settlement with the contractor and put the facility into operation this month,” the official said.
The day before, the Investigative Committee announced that the investigation into the case of theft during the reconstruction of the Gornyak stadium had been completed. The amount of theft of budget funds exceeded 12 million rubles.
We are talking about a contractor from St. Petersburg, GlassStroy LLC. A contract for 340 million rubles was signed with him in October 2019, 2 months after the termination of the contract with the previous contractor, Moscow-based Tekhstroy LLC. The capital company undertook to repair Gornyak for 373 million rubles in 2018 prices when it signed a contract with the Capital Construction Directorate of Sevastopol. The facility was supposed to be completed by November 2019.
Gornyak was completed by the Teplostroyservis company for 245 million rubles.
