This was announced on Tuesday during the session of the legislative assembly of Sevastopol by the director of the urban management department of the regional government, Andrei Atamantsev.
“As of November 11, the useful volume of the reservoir is 1,7 million cubic meters. m., with a total volume of water - 8,7 ml cubic. m. The emergency reserve of the reservoir is determined at 7 million cubic meters. m.,” Atamantsev said.
According to him, with the current consumption of 120 thousand cubic meters per day, this volume will be enough for Sevastopol for 16 days - until November 27.
“The water supply situation is a natural emergency. The Emergency Situations Commission made decisions on a number of measures, including changes to the water supply regime,” the deputy governor said.
Atamantsev added that 12 million rubles were allocated from the city budget reserve fund for the purchase of 2,3 million cubic meters of water from the Vilinsky water intake in Crimea.
Earlier, the deputy governor stated that Sevastopol receives about 60 thousand cubic meters from additional sources. m. of water per day. However, these measures have little effect on the water supply situation in the absence of precipitation. The economy mode will reduce consumption by 45% and “survive until the spring floods.”
