In Sevastopol, housing is now being rented out on the terms of the grabbers from the South Coast

Residents of Sevastopol, who earn money by renting out housing, have adopted the habits of their colleagues from the southern coast of Crimea - they are in no hurry to reduce prices and refuse to work with tourists who are on vacation for two or three days.

This is stated in an article in the Crimean Telegraph newspaper.

The publication's journalists conducted an experiment, calling a dozen mini-hotels in search of the most acceptable option. As it turns out, contrary to commercial logic, landlords raise prices in direct proportion to the number of clients - they ask for 300 rubles per day for a company of two or three people and at least 400 for a company of four or five. A typical dialogue repeated a dozen times: “Hello, there are five of us, and we would like to come to you for a few days.” - “How much specifically? If it’s less than a week, then we don’t have any offers for you.”

The publication notes that the owners of Sevastopol mini-hotels simply do not want to strain themselves.

“Why bother? Rental prices are high, I’d rather wait quietly, and when clients appear who will move in for a week or two, and then you can wait a month again,” one of the landlords told reporters.
