Sevastopol, November 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – Investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Sevastopol have opened a criminal case against the chairman of one of the precinct election commissions of the Leninsky district.

The woman is suspected of embezzling other people's money using her official position.
According to the investigation, on September 27, the suspect convinced a local resident, who took part in the activities of the election commission, to sign a pay slip indicating that she had received 13 thousand rubles as compensation required by law for this work. Then the chairman of the election commission, deciding to appropriate part of the amount, gave the woman only 3 thousand rubles. She disposed of the remaining amount of 10 thousand rubles at her own discretion.
Investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The investigation of the criminal case continues.
