For the first time in the last five years, the War and Peace festival, famous for the performances of military bands from different countries, will not take place in Sevastopol. The reason is that the organizers do not have money to hold it, said festival director Roman Markholia.

“The Sevastopol arts festival “War and Peace” will not take place in 2015.

The festival management does not have the necessary funds to adequately receive guests, arrange venues, and provide the usual comfort to spectators and participants.

We apologize to the wonderful teams who agreed to come to Sevastopol this year,” the director said.

“I decided to take a break to gather my strength and take a step forward. I dream that this step will be, first of all, creative,” Markholia emphasized.
