Accreditation is still voluntary. On its basis, a database of city guides has been formed, which tourists will be able to use when it is posted on the city tourist portal. In total, there are about 300 guides in Sevastopol.
“The accreditation was carried out by a specially created commission, which included government employees and representatives of the tourism industry. The guides were trained to know the history of Sevastopol and provided the appropriate package of documents,” said Moskalenko.
All accredited guides received a badge of the appropriate type, which confirms their professional level.
“The impression of the city largely depends on the professional qualities of the guide. Now we can safely say that tourists can expect fascinating stories about our glorious hero city of Sevastopol,” said Sevastopol Governor Sergei Menyailo.
