The construction of a large residential complex was banned in Sevastopol, but the company continues to collect money
The Sevastopolstroy company lost a lawsuit in the Court of Appeal, where the company tried to challenge the ban on the construction of a 13-story building of the Marina de Luxe complex on the shore of Streletskaya Bay on the protected lands of the Tauride Chersonese archaeological reserve.
The court supported the position of the Sevastopol prosecutor's office and rejected the claim of the developer and the city's Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The prosecutor's office said that construction was being carried out illegally and should be stopped.
“It was established that on the land plot provided for construction, economic activities that violate the integrity of the cultural heritage site are prohibited, but the construction of a 13-story building by a commercial company continued. Based on the results of an inspection by the city prosecutor's office, an application was submitted to the Arbitration Court of Sevastopol to invalidate the construction permit issued to a commercial structure on November 29.11.2016, XNUMX. The decision of the Arbitration Court of Sevastopol satisfied the prosecutor’s application,” the statement says.
It is interesting that, despite the lost lawsuits, developer on the official website continues to collect money from potential buyers of apartments in the new complex.
