This was stated at a staff meeting in the government by the head of the State Financial Control Department, Elena Volkova, who presented a report on the results of the work of her department.
“A criminal case was initiated by the public utility company “Blagoustroistvo” for the provision of more space on the beaches for entertainment facilities than specified in the contract. Accordingly, the payment was, say, 30 meters under the contract, 310 meters in fact,” Volkova said.
