The body of a 19-year-old murdered guy was found in the North Crimean Canal

According to the department, on May 13 at about 11.00, 5 km. from the village Azovskoye, Dzhankoy district, in the North Crimean water canal, the body of a 19-year-old young man was found with signs of violent death. The victim's hands and feet were tied with a rope to which a stone was attached. The victim's body had injuries in the form of an open head injury and abrasion.
Based on this fact, the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder).
21-year-old Mikhail Onoprienko was detained on suspicion of committing a crime.
During the investigation, it was established that on the evening of May 7, the victim and the suspect were returning home in the latter’s car. In the area of the village of Azovsky, Dzhankoy district, a verbal quarrel occurred between young people, during which the suspect beat the victim. The young man died on the spot from the injuries sustained. In order to hide traces of the crime, the attacker tied the victim’s hands and feet with a rope, to which he tied a stone, and then threw the body into the North Crimean Canal.
Currently, Onoprienko has been charged with murder, and a set of forensic examinations has been ordered.
At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the accused.
In a criminal case, a set of investigative actions is carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incriminated crime.
