According to Rustam Kurbanov, the director of the Soviet secondary school where the girls studied, doctors did not have time to provide first aid to Esme and Safiya, so they could not save the children.
As local residents said, one of the girls wanted to wet her feet, but could not resist and fell. The second girl also drowned while trying to help her, they report 15 minutes.
The girls' funeral took place on Friday at 13.00 p.m.
