About it reported the press service of the main directorate of the National Police in the Lugansk region.
The victim was found lying near the entrance of house No. 43 on Gvardeysky Avenue, where he lived. The investigative team that arrived at the scene found that the head of the district committee was attacked by two unknown persons at 21:20.
“Two unknown persons caused bodily injury to citizen B., born in 1976... The victim with a diagnosis of “closed craniocerebral injury, concussion, lacerations of the lower eyelid of the right eye, destruction of the right eyeball, numerous subcutaneous hematomas of the head and right forearm” was hospitalized in intensive care unit of the Central City Hospital,” the message said.
This fact is included in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and is preliminarily qualified under Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The police are taking measures to identify and detain the persons who beat the head of the district committee.
