“The battle has been going on in Shirokino for more than an hour. Terrorists fire at Ukrainian military positions with automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. An 82-mm mortar is also targeting our positions,” Ukrainian security officials claim.
“Data on losses is still unknown,” the regiment added.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously the militias stated that the Ukrainian security forces are trying to occupy all of Shirokino in order to gain control over the strategic height.
