This is not Banderstat: A “Victory lesson” will appear in DPR schools
In 2020, schools in the Donetsk People's Republic will have a lesson dedicated to the victory of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during the Direct Line, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything related to the Great Patriotic War is important to us. This is probably one of the reasons why in 2014 we made a conscious choice not to come to terms with the attitude of the new Ukrainian government towards veterans, and in general, towards the Great Patriotic War and those people who broke the back of fascism.
We have already planned a lot of events for next year, and I think this lesson will not be out of place,” he said, after which he instructed the DPR Minister of Education to introduce classes dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War into the school curriculum.
