Crimean schools will perpetuate the memory of fellow countrymen who died for their Motherland
Schools in Crimea will be named after the fallen heroes of the special operation in Ukraine, and memorial plaques will be unveiled on their facades.
From September 1, the school week will begin with the raising of the national flag and the Russian anthem, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I support the initiative of groups to name schools after children who participated in a special military operation and lived in a specific area,” said the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov. – Children should know those who, at the right moment, did not hesitate to fulfill their military duty. Therefore, I think this is good practice. “The kingdom of heaven to our guys, they are real warriors, and we must perpetuate their memory.”
The beginning of the school year in the school in the village of Novofedorovka, which was damaged by explosions at the Saki airfield, will take place as usual. By September 1, builders must complete repairs to the roof and windows. In the village of Maiskoye, Dzhankoy district, where an ammunition depot was detonated as a result of sabotage, ceremonial assemblies will be held on September 5. From the same day, the educational process will take place in a full-time format.
During September, in all schools, on behalf of the head of Crimea, meetings will be held with heroes of Russia, heroes of the Soviet Union, holders of the Order of Courage and Glory to explain to children the goals and objectives of the special military operation.
