This is stated in a message from the ATO press center on Facebook.
“Yesterday evening, the joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire and stabilization of the demarcation line between the parties reached an agreement on a ceasefire on February 6-7 in the area of the city of Debaltsevo (from 10.00 to 14.00). And on sections of the roads Debaltsevo-Uglegorsk and Debaltsevo-Artemovsk (from 8.00 to 10.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00). The main goal of the agreements is the evacuation of local residents from Debaltsevo to the cities of Artemovsk and Uglegorsk,” the statement said.
Ukrainian security forces claim that as of 15:00 shelling of Ukrainian military positions along the demarcation line continues.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, The DPR leadership stated that the evacuation from Debaltseve was disrupted due to the fault of the Ukrainian security forces.
“40 people arrived at the evacuation site: people didn’t come, because there was no notification from the Ukrainian side about the possibility of evacuation to the DPR, people don’t know anything. When we entered Debaltsevo, there was a provocation, fire came from the city,” said DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin.
