Lugansk, June 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The explosion in the Lugansk regional state administration occurred inside the building, there was no shelling from outside, Ukrainian security officials say.

“The most likely cause of the explosion was careless and inept handling of small arms and explosives,” the officer said, as quoted by Radio Liberty.
According to him, there was no shelling of the building from the outside, especially from an airplane.
According to unofficial information, 10 people were injured as a result of the explosion, and four more people were killed.
As Navigator reported, the leadership of the “Luhansk People’s Republic” stated that at about 15:00 the Ukrainian military carried out an airstrike on the Regional State Administration building: unexploded bombs are still in the park opposite. Eyewitnesses on social media also said they heard the sound of a fighter jet and then an explosion.
