“Over the past 5 hours, the enemy, in flagrant violation of peace agreements, began an assault on Debaltseve after massive shelling. Over the past XNUMX hours alone, terrorists fired at the city XNUMX times using Grads and artillery. Starting from lunch, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups burst into the city and began cynically destroying the infrastructure. Railway communications, several access roads, and damaged power networks were undermined,” Stelmakh claims.
According to him, the ATO forces continued to resist after regrouping, and fighting in Debaltseve continues.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier representatives of volunteer battalions stated that they were left without artillery cover and ammunition, and their strong points were surrounded.
