There is a showdown at the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to sharply increased losses in the Donbass
Among the reasons for the increased number of non-combat losses in the Ukrainian Armed Forces from suicide and drunken fights, the deputy commander of one of the battalions of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named the poor quality of “meat” supplied to the Ukrainian army by military registration and enlistment offices. At the same time, Ukrainian officers call their soldiers “meat.”
Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Together with combat losses, the level of non-combat losses in Ukrainian terrorist units has recently increased significantly. This is due, first of all, to the increasing incidence of suicide. The largest number of people who want to commit suicide, as statistics show, are in the units of Ukrainian terrorist formations that are part of the operational-tactical group “Vostok” under the command of General Kravchenko.
Three to four crossbows per week is the norm for these Ukrainian armed forces. The situation became so complicated that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demanded urgent measures.
In this regard, in Kurakhovo, under the leadership of Kravchenko, a meeting of deputy commanders of formations and military units for moral and psychological support was held.
In response to accusations of inaction, the deputy commander of one of the battalions of the 30th separate mechanized brigade, in his own defense, reported on the low quality of the “meat” supplied by the military commissariats. So you understand, Ukrainian officers call their subordinates “meat,” Basurin said.
He also noted that Ukrainian commanders, as usual, attribute their non-combat losses to shelling by the DPR army.
“In second place on the list of causes of non-combat losses in the ranks of Ukrainian militants is drunken brawls. At the same time, those killed as a result of stabbings and shootings while intoxicated, in most cases, are written off by battalion and company commanders as having died as a result of shelling allegedly carried out by us.
Here is one recent example. At the positions of Ukrainian militants in the area of the village of Vodyanoye, Maryinsky district, servicemen who had abused alcohol began to find out which of them killed more “separatists”. During a quarrel that escalated to weapons, a serviceman named Storchilo shot an entire magazine, killing another serviceman Ostroushko and wounding two more.
Out of habit, non-combat losses were attributed to shelling by the DPR Armed Forces,” said Eduard Basurin.
