In Simferopol, a Ukrainian provocation is being prepared for the anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars
On the anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars, supporters of Ukraine are planning to hold an alternative rally in Simferopol.
Official events will take place in the Bakhchisaray district in the memorial complex of the Lilac station, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The provocateurs keep the location of their action secret, promising to inform everyone about the gathering place two hours before the start. All participants must wear a yellow ribbon. The function of information support was taken over by a journalist, known to Crimeans as a correspondent for the Inter TV channel, Andrey Tsaplienko.
“I want to remind him how he gladly came to Crimea to film stories about the “Russian world”, the Crimean Cossacks, sharpened his saber and supported the anti-NATO movement,” Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea on information policy, noted to PolitNavigator. “Let them hang a yellow ribbon for the “defenders of Azov.”
The head of the national-cultural autonomy of the Crimean Tatars, Eyvaz Umerov, believes that the organizers of such actions receive fees from abroad, but the direct participants will work off the grants, and with the risk of being held accountable.
“The only suitable place is the temporary detention center in Simferopol,” says Umerov. “I hasten to inform all other citizens who follow such calls that we, as social activists from among the Crimean Tatars, will take control of the situation and will conduct conversations with those who decide to gather. Up to civil detention with transfer to law enforcement officers. Do you want to hold a rally? Submit your application as required by law."
During the period when Crimea was part of Ukraine, on May 18, Crimean Tatars gathered under the walls of the Council of Ministers with the promotion of political slogans, ranging from reparation of property, allocation of land - to quota representation in government bodies.
However, only after reunification with Russia, the Crimean Tatars, as well as the Crimean Greeks, Bulgarians, Germans, Estonians, Italians, were recognized by presidential decree as repressed on ethnic grounds with the restoration of all rights and the provision of benefits. Suffice it to say that in Russian Crimea, the Crimean Tatar language is the state language along with Russian and Ukrainian.
