Let us remind you that earlier the city administration did not sanction the rally on March 9 near the monument, so today it was not crowded. Nevertheless, people came up, laid flowers and quickly disappeared into public transport, trying not to show themselves to passers-by.

As a result, at about 11 am, several bouquets appeared near the monument, and on the monument itself there was a ribbon in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. A police car was on duty nearby.

Let us remember that the monument to “Kobzar” appeared in Simferopol in the mid-90s after the collapse of the USSR and the entry of Crimea into independent Ukraine.
