Simferopol, September 24 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Strong winds, gusting up to 30 m/s, knocked down trees and lampposts in Simferopol.

Mayor Viktor Ageev announced this at an operational meeting in the city council.
According to him, during the night the storm knocked down about a dozen trees, power poles, traffic lights, lamp posts and gas pipes. The city's utilities are now restoring the damage.
“We have nine units of equipment, seven city electric network vehicles and four Gorsvet vehicles. Fallen trees are being removed by Zelenkhozlyuk’s and housing and communal services vehicles, 129 janitors and vehicles of the Clean City enterprise are working,” said Anatoly Rogov, deputy mayor of Simferopol, head of the housing and communal services department.
